Are you a designer, an artist, or just plain creative? We need a poster for the 2011 Juan de Fuca Festival, and this year, we’ve decided to open up our poster selection to our community!
The goal is to create a poster around JFFA. What does this mean to you? Use your imagination and creative talents to create a visual theme around music, community, the Olympic Peninsula, or whatever inspires you and relates to JFFA.
Our mission: The Juan de Fuca Festival of the Arts (JFFA) is a non-profit organization whose mission is to develop, promote, and present performing and visual arts for the cultural, educational and economic benefit of the communities of the Olympic Peninsula in Washington State.
Specifications
- Finished poster should be scaled to 11” wide by 14” tall
- Fine art, photography, graphic art, etc. are all accepted forms for submission
- One of the following may be included in the submission:
- 2011 Juan de Fuca Festival
- Juan de Fuca Festival 2011
- 18th Annual Juan de Fuca Festival
- Submissions should be in .gif or .jpg format, no larger than 5MB file size and uncompressed
- Please do not submit original fine art for judging (an 11”x14” photographed or scanned file or print is acceptable
- Resolution should be 300 dpi for digital submissions
- Let’s keep it clean; offensive or inappropriate submissions will be refused
First Place Winner will receive $200 and TWO 4-day Festival Passes
Deadline: All entries must be received by Friday, February 11, 2011
